Dr. Kasper Edwards

Biography

Kasper Edwards is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), where his research focuses on the development, deployment, and evaluation of organizational interventions. His work explores how structured interventions can effectively drive improvements in organizational performance while enhancing employee wellbeing. Edwards analyzes the methodological design and practical evaluation of interventions to ensure they deliver measurable and sustainable impacts. A key theme of his research is bridging the gap between theory and practice in organizational change. He is particularly interested in designing evidence-based interventions applicable in diverse organizational settings, from public healthcare institutions to private small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). He applies longitudinal, mixed-method approaches that blend qualitative insights with quantitative indicators to monitor the effects of interventions over time. Edwards co-authored the Sigtuna Principles, which establish design guidelines for organizational interventions that prioritize adaptability, stakeholder engagement, and measurable outcomes. He actively assesses the impact of hybrid work environments and integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into managerial decision-making structures. In addition to his academic roles, he chairs the Nordic network for research on work environment quality and productivity in healthcare.
