Her current doctoral research explores the facilitators and barriers to the development of positive teacher-student relationships in Western Australian schools, viewed through a trauma-informed lens. Alongside her studies, she is part of the Thoughtful Schools research team, led by Professor Karen Martin, focusing on the physiological, psychological, and behavioral impacts of trauma.
