Dr. Katelyn Wong

Biography

Dr. Katelyn Wong completed her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College and received her medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Allergy Immunology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Wong specializes in adult and pediatric allergy immunology, focusing on providing care for patients with a range of allergic and immunologic conditions. She is particularly dedicated to evaluating, diagnosing, and managing food allergies, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, drug allergies, asthma, and eczema. Dr. Wong is passionate about the educational aspect of her work, emphasizing teaching and empowering patients and their families to effectively manage allergic conditions, ultimately improving their quality of life. Additionally, she is committed to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and is interested in optimizing electronic medical records to better serve her patients. As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, she combines her clinical expertise with a commitment to medical education, teaching students, residents, and fellows.
