Biography

Katherine Frankel is an Associate Professor in the Language & Literacy Education Department at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education & Human Development. She teaches graduate courses focusing on qualitative methods in literacy education. Her research interests revolve around adolescent literacy, aiming to support literacy learning in secondary school classrooms and one-on-one tutoring contexts. Frankel has presented her research at various national conferences, including the American Educational Research Association and the Literacy Research Association.
