Biography

Kathy has 43 years of nursing experience that includes adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, general surgery, pediatrics, community, and obstetrical nursing. Since 1998, she has been teaching clinical theory classes in medical, surgical, and pediatric settings. Kathy is pleased to act as a clinical teaching mentor for faculty. Her extensive background enables her to contribute significantly to nursing education, focusing on the development of excellent clinical instruction, mentorship, and evaluation pedagogy. Her research interests also include interprofessional clinical education, supported by her engagement in mixed-methods methodologies.
