Biography

Dr. Katrina Kontaxis obtained her Doctorate in Dentistry at Université de Montréal in 2012. During her training, Dr. Kontaxis received the Aldis-Bernard Award from the Ordre des dentistes du Québec. She subsequently completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. During her residency, she participated in several research projects and presented at numerous conferences across the United States. Dr. Katrina Kontaxis is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry and practices in private office in Montréal. Since 2018, she has also been sitting on the Board of Young Philanthropists of the IRIC.
