Biography

Keri M. Guilbault, EdD, is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Education, where she teaches in the online Doctor of Education program with a focus on Neurodiversity and Neuroeducation. She has a joint appointment at the Center for Talented Youth (CTY) as the principal investigator for the Study of Exceptional Talent (SET), leading a longitudinal study of exceptional students. Dr. Guilbault's research centers on academic acceleration, leadership in gifted and advanced academic programs, and the affective development needs of profoundly gifted students. From 2023 to 2025, she served as Co-PI on the Jacob K. Javits grant titled Project PTAL: Professional Transformation Advanced Learning. Her work has been published in various scholarly journals, including Gifted Child Quarterly and Journal of Advanced Academics, and she serves as an associate editor for key journals in the field. Dr. Guilbault is an active speaker at national and international conferences and enjoys engaging with local school districts and parent groups. She has received the Vivian Lee Memorial Award for faculty excellence in teaching and mentoring from the JHU School of Education in 2024.
