Biography

Kevin Miller's research revolves around understanding and improving education by finding ways to make the experiences of learners a prominent aspect of teaching. His focus is on the processes of teaching and learning rather than just the characteristics of teachers and learners. His research employs a mixture of methods, including video records and eye-tracking, to capture the cognitive processes of teachers and students in realistic educational settings. He earned his Ph.D. in child school psychology from the University of Minnesota.
