Dr. Kevin Stewart

Biography

Kevin Stewart is a Senior Lecturer in Business Communication at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University. He holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from McMaster University. As a Beedie Teaching Fellow, Stewart has made significant contributions to business communications education by founding the Beedie Writing Mentorship Program in 2002, which enables undergraduate business students to mentor their peers in writing and language skills. He also established the Teaching Support Group at Beedie, fostering collaboration among faculty members to share teaching expertise and observe classroom practices, which laid the groundwork for the current Beedie Teaching and Learning Committee. Stewart has extensive experience as a senior partner at the Ethos Business Communications Group, where he designs communications-related curricula, assessment tools, and in-house training sessions for various organizations, including CGA Canada and the University of British Columbia. He advises and coaches senior executives on communication and business strategies.
