Biography

Kevin van Schie is an experimental psychologist whose research is deeply fascinated by how individuals can change their own memories. His work is heavily grounded in neuroscience, especially regarding memory modulation and forgetting, as well as resilience in the face of stress and climate anxiety. His laboratory studies focus on various topics aimed at improving treatment and prevention of psychological disorders. He obtained his PhD in Psychology in 2018 from Utrecht University. Prior to his current position, he was an assistant professor in clinical psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2019, he was awarded the NWO Rubicon grant as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge for two years. He is currently serving as an assistant professor at Tilburg University.
