Biography

Kim Nørgaard Helmersen is a lecturer and researcher at the Chair for Work and Organizational Psychology within the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics at ETH Zurich. He studied sociology at Copenhagen University in Denmark and received his PhD in Architectural Theory and History from ETH Zurich in 2023. His research focuses on the intersection of science and technology studies, work, and organization. His studies also explore digital fabrication and innovation strategies that inform the mindsets and conditions affecting work and knowledge construction. Additionally, Kim teaches courses at the Master's and PhD levels, covering topics related to organizational behavior, leadership, team dynamics, and diversity, along with qualitative research methods. He is affiliated with the Transdisciplinarity Lab at ETH Zurich and contributes to the NCCR Digital Fabrication as a report facilitator, focusing on digital collaboration and responsible coordination of diverse research projects.
