Kim Roth is a Teaching Professor of Statistics at Pennsylvania State University. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Penn State in 2002 and completed her Master’s in Applied Statistics through Penn State’s World Campus in 2016. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Oberlin College, completed in 1996. Before joining Penn State, she was a Professor of Statistics and Mathematics at Juniata College, where she also helped establish their Data Science program. Roth has received multiple awards for her contributions including the Beachley Award for Distinguished Service and the SIGMAA Statistics Data Science Education Distinguished Faculty Mentor Award.
