I study business dynamics in the form of new establishments and closures of companies. The research has a regional and/or institutional perspective. How do institutional conditions, such as regulations, impact entrepreneurship and business activities? My research also examines the significance of entrepreneurship on the labor market, as well as recruitment and skills shortages. My research encompasses the following themes: Business dynamics involving new establishments, expansion, contraction, and closures of companies; Business transformation and dynamics from an industrial and regional perspective; Institutional aspects of entrepreneurship and business dynamics; Labor market dynamics and employment related to newly established and closed businesses; Recruitment of skills from a regional perspective.
