Biography

Kwan Wei Lek received his PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before joining the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), he served as a lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic for 7 years and as adjunct faculty at the Singapore Institute of Technology. Kwan is interested in improving students’ learning through innovative design projects and hands-on approaches. His current research focuses on applying artificial intelligence to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Kwan has published various articles and book chapters on topics concerning electrical memory devices and organic polymer non-volatile memories, contributing significantly to the fields of energy and sustainability, robotics, and electronics.
