Dr. Kyle Brykman

Biography

Kyle Brykman is an Associate Professor at the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business, where he holds the VPRI Early Career Research Chair position. His research focuses on employee voice, resilience, and conflict, with a specific emphasis on leading high-performance teams. Brykman aims to enhance the performance and health of individuals, leaders, and organizations by clarifying communication processes and fostering personal and team resilience, as well as effectively managing workplace conflict. His work has been published in prestigious academic journals, including the Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Small Group Research. Brykman obtained his PhD in Management from Queen's University’s Smith School of Business, a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an HBA from Ivey School of Business.
