Dr. Ladina Rageth

Biography

Ladina Rageth is the Executive Director at the Swiss School of Public Governance (SSPG), where she is responsible for management operations, research, education, outreach, and communication activities. She contributes to the strategic development of SSPG and develops continuing education programs in public management, governance, and administration. Her translational research focuses on the functioning of management in higher education institutions, aiming to provide empirical evidence that helps governments and policymakers address the challenges facing the higher education sector today and in the future. With years of experience in research project management across academic, public, and private sectors, Ladina holds a Master’s degree in sociology from the University of Zurich and a PhD from ETH Zurich. Before joining SSPG, she was a Senior Researcher at the Chair of Education Systems at ETH Zurich, where her research centered on sociology of education, with a specific focus on labor market outcomes, social status, and the institutionalization of education and training programs. Her research interests are supported by diverse social science methods, emphasizing empirical research and conceptual frameworks while actively engaging in knowledge transfer through outreach activities and presentations.
