Biography

Larry Yueli Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Teaching Stream and the Undergraduate Program Director at the Lassonde School of Engineering, specializing in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His teaching and research interests encompass a range of subjects, including data structures, algorithms, computer organization, operating systems, computer networks, distributed systems, social network analysis, and computing education. Before joining York University, Larry completed his PhD in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto and worked as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of Toronto Mississauga. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing. Larry is involved in curriculum development for new programs at York University Markham Campus, including a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Technologies.
