Laurie Weingart is the Richard M. Margaret S. Cyert Professor of Organizational Behavior Theory at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and co-leads the Collaboration and Conflict Research Lab. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Management, the Society of Organizational Behavior, and the Society for Experimental Social Psychology. Her award-winning research has been featured in major news outlets worldwide. Weingart has been active in her profession, serving as president of the International Association for Conflict Management and as the founding president of the Interdisciplinary Network for Group Research. She has also been an editor for the influential Academy of Management Annals. She earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
