Dr. Leslie Babinski

Biography

Leslie M. Babinski is a Research Professor at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University, as well as an affiliate in the Center for Child and Family Policy. She has a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her research primarily focuses on the professional development of ESL classroom teachers and the impacts of various educational interventions on students' linguistic and social development. Her notable studies, including the efficacy of the DCCS program and collaborations with other universities, aim to enhance educational practices and outcomes for English Learners.
