Dr. Lili Ma received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Virginia in 2007. She completed postdoctoral training at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of British Columbia. Dr. Ma joined the Department of Psychology at Ryerson University in 2010. Her research focuses on social-cognitive development in early childhood, specifically exploring how children make social judgments and decisions based on information sources. Dr. Ma's research has been supported by a Discovery Grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). In addition, she teaches undergraduate courses in introductory developmental psychology and advanced courses in infancy, cognitive development, and early social cognition.
