Linda Trinh is an Associate Professor specializing in Exercise and Cancer Survivorship at the University of Toronto. Her research agenda is centered on the development of evidence-based, theoretically-driven physical activity and sedentary behavior interventions that can impact cancer control and survivorship. Her main research interests encompass examining the effects of physical activity on cancer survivors regarding symptom management—including quality of life, fatigue, and cognitive function—as well as health-related fitness outcomes. Trinh also focuses on behavior change interventions aimed at increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary behavior among cancer survivors, alongside profiling their physical activity levels, patterns, and determinants. A secondary line of research involves investigating sedentary behavior patterns and their association with physical and psychosocial health outcomes.
