Dr. Line Mikkelsen

Biography

Line Mikkelsen is a linguist working with language communities in California, Denmark, and Greenland. Her work combines theoretical and analytic approaches to syntax with efforts organized around language maintenance and revitalization. She serves as a core faculty member in the Designated Emphasis in Indigenous Language Revitalization. Additionally, she is affiliated with the Department of Philosophy, where her research focuses on the intersection of syntax and language preservation initiatives.
