Biography

Lisa G. Huettel received her BS degree in Engineering Science from Harvard University in 1994, before earning her MS and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Duke University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Huettel served as a Research Associate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University, followed by an appointment as Assistant Research Professor. In 2002, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University and is currently a Professor of the Practice in the same department. Her research interests focus on the application of statistical signal processing in remote sensing, along with engineering education, curriculum, and laboratory development.
