Biography

Lisa G. Huettel received her BS degree in Engineering Science from Harvard University in 1994, followed by MS and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Duke University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Huettel worked as a Research Associate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. The following year, she served as an Assistant Research Professor. In 2002, she was appointed Assistant Professor of the Practice in Electrical and Computer Engineering and eventually became a Professor of the Practice. Her current research interests focus on the application of statistical signal processing and remote sensing alongside engineering education, curriculum design, and laboratory development.
