Lisa Rumpel is a collaborative pianist and vocal coach at the Desautels Faculty of Music, University of Manitoba. Praised for her fierce artistry and poetic pianism, she engages audiences with her performance of classical music. An alumnus of the Franz Schubert Institute, Vancouver International Song Institute, and Opera NUOVA, she has inspired many through her mentorship experiences. In addition to her extensive freelance work, she serves as the Associate Director of Flipside Opera and Living Room Live, organizations that promote modern Canadian compositions and house concerts. Lisa enjoys performing for diverse audiences and believes in the power of collaboration in music teaching and performance.
