Biography

Lisa Stefanac is a Clinical Professor of Leadership at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is also the Co-Founder and CEO of KSE Leadership, a privately held leadership consulting firm, and Co-Founder and Partner at Assessing Action, which develops leadership team effectiveness tools. Stefanac has a rich background in leadership development, team effectiveness, and talent management, working with clients ranging from high-growth startups to some of the largest companies across various industries including retail, technology, oil and gas, and digital health. Prior to her role at Booth, she served as Managing Director at the Kantor Institute, a team development consultancy based in Cambridge, MA, and began her career in organizational change consulting with Dialogos International LLC, where she created negotiation and conflict management training programs for Insight Partners. At Booth, she has taught management courses and provided coaching and mentoring for MBA students, building on her previous experience at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Stefanac earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and received the university’s Global Awareness Award, as well as the Herman Family Fellowship, which recognizes high-potential women entrepreneurs. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English Literature from San Francisco State University. Furthermore, she is a former competitive gymnast and marathon runner who has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, demonstrating her commitment to helping individuals surpass their perceived limits.
