Biography

Liz Hayes is a seasoned actor and teaching artist specializing in voice, dialect, and text coaching for theatre, film, and television. With extensive experience in voice and speech faculties, she has taught at prestigious institutions including Juilliard School’s Drama Division, Brooklyn College MFA Acting Program, NYU/Tisch's New Studio on Broadway, Pace University, Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Emerson College. Liz currently serves as the Resident Voice and Dialect Coach for 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' and has contributed her coaching skills to numerous theater companies and institutions such as Playwrights Horizons, Roundabout Theatre Company, McCarter Theatre Center, and Huntington Theatre Company. As an accomplished actor, she has graced stages at Roundabout Theatre Company, Menier Chocolate Factory in London, and various regional theaters, including McCarter Theatre Center and Old Globe. A founding member of the Elliot Norton Award-winning theater company Orfeo Group, Liz is also a member of the Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), SAG-AFTRA, and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA). She holds an MFA from George Washington University and has graduated from Brown University.
