Professor Dr. Louise Bøttcher

Biography

Louise Bøttcher is an Associate Professor at the Danish School of Education at Aarhus University, specializing in Educational Psychology. Her research primarily focuses on the pedagogical conditions affecting the development and learning of children and youth with disabilities, particularly those with cerebral palsy and communicative impairments. Currently, she is exploring Universal Design for Learning within higher education, aiming to improve access and inclusivity for diverse student populations. Bøttcher is a member of the Bevica Universal Design Alumni Network and collaborates with researchers from the Department of Psychology at the University of Copenhagen and the Centre for Children's Literature and Media at Aarhus University. She teaches courses in Educational Psychology, Cultural-Historical Theory, Neuropsychology, and Educational Psychological Assessment at the Master's level.
