Biography

Lovleen joined the Economics department at the Adam Smith Business School in August 2015. She holds a BA (Honours) degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and an MA degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. She moved to Spain to pursue her PhD in Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Before entering academia, Lovleen worked as a risk manager at HSBC and GE Money. Her research interests are aligned with the Macroeconomics research cluster, focusing on areas such as self-regulating learning, sovereign debt, international finance, mental wellbeing, peer support, student experience, and graduate skills. Lovleen has held various teaching and supervisory roles at the University of Glasgow, including being the Undergraduate Honours Coordinator and the Undergraduate Dissertation Convenor. She has also taught Introductory Mathematics at the Master level in Economic Development and Growth at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
