Biography

Lucy Campbell is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Warwick. She received her PhD from the University of Cambridge in 2015, where she was supervised by Jane Heal. Before joining Warwick in 2018 as a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow, Campbell held academic positions at the University of Oxford and the University of Edinburgh. Her research primarily explores the intersection of philosophy of mind, epistemology, and moral psychology, focusing on practical knowledge, agency, and intentional action. She has published several articles and book chapters addressing topics like psychological self-knowledge, epistemological pluralism, and philosophical methodologies. In addition to her research, she teaches epistemology and metaphysics at the undergraduate level and supervises research projects at the postgraduate level. Campbell is actively involved in the Warwick Mind Action Research Centre and serves as an Associate Editor for Philosophical Explorations.
