Biography

Lynn Hasher is a Professor Emerita at the University of Toronto in the Department of Psychology. She obtained her A.B. from Smith College and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 1970, followed by post-doctoral training in cognitive development. Throughout her career, she has taught at several institutions, including Carleton University, Temple University, and Duke University, before joining the University of Toronto in 2000. Additionally, her work explores adult age differences in circadian patterns, arousal, and the effects of synchrony on cognitive performance throughout the day.
