Biography

Marc van Wanrooij is an Assistant Professor at the Donders Centre for Neuroscience. His research concentrates on how information from the visual, auditory, and vestibular senses is processed optimally by the brain. This work specifically addresses how individuals cope with conflicting or ambiguous sources of information, especially when sensory perception becomes impaired. He leads research projects under the theme of Auditory System and Multisensory Gaze Control & Executive Function, including involvement in the HealthPAC European Marie-Curie project, which focuses on perception-action mechanisms in health and disease.
