Biography

Mark B. Moss is an Emeritus Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, specializing in Anatomy and Neurobiology. He obtained his PhD from Northeastern University and has a longstanding focus on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying learning and memory in non-human primate models, particularly in relation to aging and age-related diseases. Besides his educational contributions, he serves on various scientific and administrative committees, and offers mentorship to graduate students at Boston University. His research interests also include the effects of hypertension on cognition, and he is recognized for his expertise in identifying neural correlates of cognitive decline in both aging humans and non-human primates.
