Biography

Martina Wells teaches German language and culture courses across the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. Her research interests focus on contemporary German literature and film, with particular emphasis on German-Jewish literature and culture in modern contexts. As a faculty member in the Department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics, Dr. Wells serves as the coordinator of the German Studies program and is a faculty advisor for minors.
