Biography

Matthew Bidwell’s research examines new patterns of employment careers, focusing on the causes and effects of short-term, market-oriented employment relationships. He is particularly interested in the kinds of career paths that people take in the modern labor market. Currently, he is the faculty co-director of the Wharton People Analytics Initiative and the faculty director of the Wharton CHRO Program. Matthew holds a Ph.D. from the MIT Sloan School, a Master's in Political Science from MIT, and a Master's in Chemistry from Oxford University.
