Biography

Matthias Hauswirth is an Associate Professor at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano, Switzerland, where he leads the Lugano Computing Education (LuCE) research lab. His research primarily focuses on programming education, developing resources such as a web application for teaching programming and a structured inventory of programming language misconceptions. He has created the PyTamaro Python graphics library, which explores notional machines for problem decomposition.
