Biography

Mearah Quinn-Brauner serves as the Senior Director of Strategy and Policy in the Office of the Provost at Northwestern University. In this role, she provides strategic and tactical support for a wide range of activities including senior searches, oversight of new degree programs, and development of international partnership agreements. Additionally, she fulfills accreditation and state authorization requirements and contributes to dean reviews and policy development at the University. Prior to her position at Northwestern, Mearah was the Deputy Chief of Staff and Assistant Vice Provost at Emory University’s Office of the Provost, where she focused on graduate student advising, program development, and fostering intra-institutional collaboration. Mearah has experience teaching college-level writing, literature, and film studies courses in the Philadelphia area. She holds a PhD and MA in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in English from Oberlin College.
