Dr. Michael Flavin

Biography

Michael Flavin is a Reader in Global Education at King's College London with expertise in technology-enhanced learning and nineteenth-century literature. He holds a doctorate in nineteenth-century literature and culture from the University of Kent and a master's degree in education with a specialization in technology-enhanced learning from the Open University. He has taught at various universities in the UK since 1999 and has published extensively on technology-enhanced learning strategies, including works that have been translated into Italian and Chinese. Additionally, he is the editor-in-chief of Research in Learning Technology and peer reviews for numerous high-impact journals. His research interests include disruptive innovation theories, global leadership, and technology-enhanced learning. Flavin's notable publications include books and articles focused on leadership in higher education and technology-enhanced learning strategies.
