Biography

Michael Mihalicz serves as an Indigenous Advisor in the Office of the Dean at the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship & Strategy at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). His research integrates principles from psychology and economics to understand how people make decisions and the various reasons leading to poor choices. As an Indigenous Advisor, he focuses on supporting reconciliation goals on campus and developing strategies to enhance access to postsecondary education for Indigenous students. His research interests lie at the intersection of decision-making, Indigenous entrepreneurship, and investment training, with particular emphasis on the non-financial factors influencing educational pursuits among Inuit and Métis students.
