Dr. Mika Hamilton

Biography

Mika Hamilton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He serves as a Primary Staff Physician at the University Health Network - Toronto Western Hospital, with a clinical focus in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Hamilton is also the Program Director for the UHN-SHS Critical Care Fellowship Program, where he oversees the training and education of fellows in critical care medicine. His research interests include healthcare worker wellbeing, organizational management behavior, and sleep health, making significant contributions towards improving the work environment and health conditions of medical staff. Dr. Hamilton aims to enhance the understanding of the impacts of organizational behavior on healthcare outcomes, particularly in critical care settings. He actively engages in scholarly activities and contributes to the body of knowledge in anesthesiology through research and publications.
