Biography

Mindy Douthit brings professional academic expertise in organizational development, change, and social network analysis. In addition to teaching courses in SESP’s Learning & Organizational Change concentration, Douthit serves as an instructor and research advisor in SESP’s Masters in Learning and Organizational Change program, and is actively involved in leadership coaching within Kellogg’s Executive Education programs. Prior to working at Northwestern, Douthit was an adjunct professor at DePaul’s College of Commerce, teaching classes for both undergraduate and MBA programs. She spent several years at Accenture focusing on organizational analysis, design, change management, and training design and development. Douthit also held a managerial role at the International Forum, where she was responsible for designing senior executive educational programs for a global clientele. She holds a PhD in organizational theory and strategy from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Her research and teaching interests encompass organizational change, innovation, and career development and fulfillment for young professionals.
