Dr. Minjeong Jeon

Biography

Minjeong Jeon is a Professor at UCLA's School of Education and Information Studies, specializing in Advanced Quantitative Methods and Assessment. She completed her Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods Evaluation at the University of California, Berkeley, where she also obtained her M.A. in Statistics. Minjeong has further qualifications with two M.A.s: one in Quantitative Methods, Measurement, and Evaluation from Yonsei University, and another in Education Sociology from the same institution. Her research primarily focuses on developing robust statistical models and methodologies for analyzing complex educational measurements and assessments. Over the years, she has contributed significantly to research literature, including several publications in prominent academic journals such as Psychometrika and Behavior Research Methods. Minjeong's work often explores advanced statistical techniques, including item response theory and mixed models, contributing to the field's understanding of quantitative analysis in educational contexts.
