Joelle Welling is the Interim Director of the School of Creative and Performing Arts and a Professor of Music at the University of Calgary. She holds a PhD in Music Theory from the University of Texas at Austin, and has also completed degrees in Music Theory from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Voice Performance from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
