Biography

Mirjam Werner is an Associate Professor in Business-Society Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. She has studied the operations of social enterprises like Yoni and Fairphone, as well as various citizen initiatives in the energy and healthcare sectors. With professional training in anthropology and ethnographic research, Mirjam employs an in-depth qualitative interpretive approach in her studies. Her research has been published in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management Studies, and Organization Studies.
