Biography

Mitchell L. Stevens is a professor in the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University, where he also has courtesy appointments in the Department of Sociology. An organizational sociologist, his long-standing interests include educational sequences, lifelong learning, alternative educational forms, and the role of formal organizations in knowledge creation and dissemination.
