Dr. Moa Yngve

Biography

Moa Yngve is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, specializing in student participation and engagement in education, focusing on creating inclusive learning environments that enable students to reach their full potential. Her research addresses the support needs of students who struggle to meet academic goals due to inadequate adaptations, leading to long-term health and social exclusion issues. Yngve's doctoral project explores interventions for student engagement and collaboration through the Partnering Change (P4C) initiative, which promotes interprofessional collaboration in schools. The P4C model develops strategies to create inclusive learning environments by involving educators and occupational therapists. Yngve has conducted research on upper secondary students with special educational needs, aiming to improve their participation in school activities through Information Communication Technology (ICT). Her work underscores the necessity of tailored support, particularly for students with neuropsychiatric diagnoses, highlighting findings from her thesis which demonstrated that personalized ICT interventions can enhance participation in education. Yngve is actively involved in developing and evaluating assessment instruments to support vocational rehabilitation and work ability in students with special educational needs, collaborating with various researchers at Linköping University and other institutions.
