Biography

Moise Blanchard is an Assistant Professor at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2024, where he was a member of the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems and was advised by Professor Patrick Jaillet. Prior to his doctoral studies, he obtained his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique, where he graduated as valedictorian in 2019. His research interests lie at the intersection of learnability, machine learning, statistics, online algorithms, optimization, and decision-making. Currently, he is also a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University's Data Science Institute. Through his academic endeavors, Blanchard contributes to the advancement of methodologies and applications that integrate complex decision-making processes with machine learning paradigms.
