Monica E. Romero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, specializing in the combined School/Clinical Child Psychology program. Her scholarship aims to increase Latine representation in school psychology and to support the success of women of color in graduate training, addressing the need to decolonize the field. Dr. Romero is currently accepting new doctoral students for Fall 2026.
