Biography

Dr. Nahyun Kim's research examines organizations, particularly how they understand and construe time and temporalities in relation to social and environmental issues. Her focus is on the vocabularies and grammatical structures of organizational language, which reflects and affects perceptions of organizational actors. She studies how organizations engage stakeholders' interests, power dynamics, and temporal orientations in pursuit of sustainable development. Before joining Tilburg University as an assistant professor, she completed her PhD in General Management, specializing in Sustainability at Ivey Business School, Western University (University of Western Ontario). She also holds an MS in International Business Strategy and a BBA and BA in Chinese Literature and Linguistics from Korea University.
