Biography

Professor Noa Zilberman leads the Computing Infrastructure Group in the Department of Engineering Science. His research focuses on the integration of micro-level architectures with macro-level large scale networked systems. Zilberman's research interests span computer architecture, programmable hardware, and data science, with a specific interest in the combination of multiple disciplines, especially in practical measurements. His current research interests include sustainable computing infrastructure, AI systems, networked-systems architectures, in-network computing, in-network machine learning, and performance measurements. Prior to joining Oxford, Professor Zilberman was a Fellow and Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge's Department of Computer Science and Technology. He has over 15 years of industrial experience, having worked as a Senior Principal chip architect in Broadcom's Network Switching group. He is actively looking for outstanding graduate students to join his research group, particularly those interested in programmable hardware and networking in computer architecture.
